Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of earnhouse, operated by earnhouse Ltd (Company No. 17181055), a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms in full.

1. The Service

earnhouse is the company behind Tender, our business app for jobs, clients, paperwork and money, and a growing range of practical services for UK businesses.

2. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions & Payment

• –Tender is £7.99 per month, billed monthly after the introductory allowance when you explicitly choose to subscribe.
• –Prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.
• –Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• –Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• –We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
• –We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

4. First five customer payments

Tender includes the complete product through the first five successful customer payments. After that, users explicitly choose the £7.99/month Tender subscription to continue using subscription-required actions. There is no permanently free edition. Processing fees still apply, and Tender never starts the subscription automatically. Review the subscription terms shown when you choose to subscribe.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use earnhouse to violate any law, upload malicious code, spam clients, gain unauthorised access to systems, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

earnhouse and all associated trademarks, software and design are owned by or licensed to earnhouse Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the platform for your internal business purposes. You retain ownership of all data you upload.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English law, earnhouse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees paid by you in that period.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Privacy Policy

earnhouse Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this platform. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data We Collect

• –Account information: name, email, business name, trade type, phone number and the identifier used to keep your sign-in linked to your Tender account.
• –Billing information: payment method details processed securely by Stripe. We never store full card numbers.
• –Subscription information: App Store product, purchase and entitlement information needed to provide and restore Tender access. Apple processes the subscription payment.
• –Business data: clients, jobs, quotes, invoices and other content you create.
• –Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type, browser, IP address and session duration.
• –Communications: support tickets and emails you send to us.

How We Use Your Data

• –To provide, maintain and improve the earnhouse platform.
• –To process payments and manage your subscription.
• –To send service communications (account updates, invoices, security alerts).
• –To send marketing emails where you have opted in.
• –To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with services needed to run Tender: Supabase (account and database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (customer payments), Resend (email), Apple (App Store subscriptions and Sign in with Apple), Google when you choose Google sign-in, and accounting providers only when you explicitly connect them.

Published Tender business pages count page loads and deliberate service selections to help the business understand interest in its services. These counts are not unique visitors. A random identifier exists only for the current page load, to avoid counting retries twice. This measurement uses no cookies or browser storage and does not record names, email addresses, IP addresses, referral URLs or device fingerprints. It respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control where supported. Request totals come separately from bookings and enquiries sent to the business. Hosting providers may process connection information separately to deliver and protect the site.

Data Retention

Retention depends on the type of information, the service it supports and applicable legal requirements. Tender provides an in-app account-deletion route. It removes the Tender account and account data we are permitted to erase; some financial or compliance records may need to be retained. A connected identity or accounting provider may also offer its own access-removal controls.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. Email hello@earnhouse.co.uk — we will respond within the applicable statutory timeframe, normally one month.

Cookie Policy

earnhouse uses cookies to operate the platform and understand how it is used.

Cookies We Use

• –Essential cookies — required for authentication and session management. These cannot be disabled.
• –Analytics cookies — help us understand which features are used. No personally identifiable data is shared.
• –Preference cookies — store your settings such as dark mode.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in. Tender marketing measurement runs only after you choose Accept all. It records action names and the recognised Work. Tap. Tax. campaign label, not email addresses, customer details or financial data. Product-update requests are sent through our email provider to the earnhouse inbox and used for Tender product news; you can withdraw and request deletion by emailing hello@earnhouse.co.uk. You can change your analytics preference at any time using Cookie settings.

GDPR

earnhouse Ltd is committed to compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) about data protection concerns.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

• –Right of access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
• –Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• –Right to erasure — request deletion where there is no legitimate reason to continue processing.
• –Right to restriction — ask us to pause processing in certain circumstances.
• –Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• –Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.

Exercising Your Rights

Email hello@earnhouse.co.uk with your name and account email. We will respond within the applicable statutory timeframe, normally one month. We may ask you to verify your identity first.

Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Security

The security of your business data is fundamental to everything we build. Here is how we protect it.

Website and accounts

The website uses HTTPS. Hosting and account services use Vercel and Supabase. Keep your account credentials private, use a unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

Payments

Tender’s online invoice payments use Stripe-hosted checkout. Enter payment details only in the payment flow, never in a support message or contact form.

Vulnerability Disclosure

If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly to hello@earnhouse.co.uk. Please do not publicly disclose it until we have investigated and resolved it. We are grateful for responsible disclosure.

Incident Response

If a personal data breach occurs, we will assess it and make any notifications to the ICO and affected people required by applicable data protection law.
